Gawler Craton

Teck Cominco vended in to Meridian Minerals its tenements within the Gawler Craton in South Australia. This project was generated by Teck Cominco using their extensive in-house expertise and data bases following a multi-year project generation program.

The tenements cover approximately 6300 km2 within the world-class Gawler Craton of South Australia.

Meridian Minerals will target Olympic Dam style mineralisation within the Gawler Project. The Olympic Dam deposit has a clearly defined geophysical signature, making this mineralisation style ideal for locating with aeromagnetic and gravity data.
